Miss Porter's School Student April Li is Member of CT State Champion Badminton Team

Miss Porter's School's varsity badminton team, which includes April Li of Shenyang, completed a successful season, finishing as the undefeated League Champion. The team went on to compete at the Connecticut High School State Tournament, held October 30 at Simsbury High School, where they earned the title of Connecticut High School State Tournament Champion. Strong performances by April Li '14 (A Flight Single Champion), Sherry Zhang '14 and Cindy Qian '15 (A Flight Doubles Champions), and Xinyi Wang '15 (B Flight Single Champion) contributed to the team's success.

Porter's badminton program includes varsity and junior varsity teams and is led by Head Coach Wen-Lin Su and Coach Mizuho Aussicker.
